O’Fishally the Best Dad Ever Father’s Day Craft

O'Fishally the Best Dad Ever Father's Day Craft

This year I did a Father’s Day craft with Sophie that we called “O’Fishally the Best Dad Ever!” If you’ve been following my blog for any length of time you know I’m a sucker for handprint – footprint crafts. They make such a cute keepsake so you can always remember how little and cute those tiny fingers and toes once were! Here’s how you can make this cute handprint craft for the special dad in your life:

Supplies:

  • Fingerpainting Paper
  • Regular Paper
  • Blue fingerpaint
  • Washable paint in various colors
  • Foam brush
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Googly Eyes

Directions:

1. Let your child paint an ocean on white paper with blue finger paint and let dry.

2. Use the foam brush to paint your child’s hand with various colors of washable paint. Stamp their hand on white paper and let dry.

3. Cut the dried handprints out and glue onto the “ocean” with the thumbs pointed downward.

4. Glue on googly eyes to make fish.

It’s as simple as that! I promise Dad will love it! Great for Granddad’s too! If you need another cute Father’s Day craft idea check out the painted ties we made.
