Crocheted Puppy Hat

I took on the very ambitious task of making hats for all the kids in the family for Christmas. Nine hats total! I was scrambling to finish them minutes before we left to meet the family! I think I’ll be giving more store bought gifts next year — HA!

The boys in the family received crocheted puppy dog hats. You can find the free pattern here, which is available in sizes newborn to adult. Here’s some pictures of my adorable nephews modeling their hats.

The yarn I used was Red Heart in Aran Fleck for the main hat, Red Heart Cafe Latte for the trim, ears and eye patch Caron Simply Soft in Black for the nose and mouth. The girls got owl hats…I’ll be showing those off soon!
