Turquoise Dining Room Tablescape
Hope everyone had a nice Mothers Day Weekend! We had a quiet weekend at home. The weather was beautiful and we spent most of our time in the pool. Today I’m sharing my new dining room tablescape.
My dining room decor has been needing a makeover for awhile! We bought a gorgeous new table and chairs from Pottery Barn last year but dropped the ball on perfecting the table decor. All we had was a lantern sitting in the center of the table. I knew I could do better than that! So I finally got motivated to dress it up and love how it turned out. The look is timeless and can be used throughout the seasons. I’ve linked all of our dining room sources at the end of the post.

The roman shades in our dining room have turquoise trim and I decided to incorporate that color into our new dining room tablespace. I started with a turquoise table runner and linen napkins and added other accessories from there.
I found the whitewashed candle sticks at Hobby Lobby and immediately knew they were a keeper. But I had a harder time finding a tray to sit them on. Most trays were too short, or had sides that partially covered the base of the candle holders. Multiple shopping trips and several Amazon orders later, I finally found this gorgeous wooden tray that’s perfect for the space. It’s totally flat and long enough for all five candle holders. It’s actually a charcuterie / serving tray but I plan to only use it for display purposes.
I decorated around the candle sticks with wicker balls and wooden bead garland with tassels on either end. To complete the look, I added whitewashed hyacinth placemats, woven napkin rings and beaded coasters. Â I love the texture the placemats and napkin rings add to the table.Â
We’ve had the area rug for several years. It was a steal at about $200 and is just as thick and well made as the rug in our living room which we spent three times that amount on. It comes in a variety of sizes, including a smaller size we have at the back door.
The chandelier is my favorite fixture in our home. It’s available in brushed nickel and bronze finishes as well as in 3, 6, 9 & 12 light options.
I’ve linked the sources for you below in case you see something that catches your eye!
