Oyster Shell Bottle Bracelet

Oyster shell wine bottle bracelets can be given draped around the neck of a wine bottle as a thoughtful hostess gift, but there’s more than one way to enjoy these simple but elegant beaded bracelets! You can hang them on a door knob or cabinet door, display them in a basket or on top of a stack of books, drape them over the corner of a portrait, display them around the neck of a narrow vase or candle or use them to mark a favorite passage in an inspiring text.

The strand of wooden beads is accented with three recycled glass beads handmade by the Krobo tribe in Ghana West Africa. The beads are crafted from repurposed glass bottles that have been crushed into fine powder, poured into clay molds and baked in a mud kiln oven. These wine bottle bracelets are not only beautiful but also environmentally friendly since they’re made from recycled materials!

The beaded stand has a drop length of 5 inches with a gilded oyster shell that measures approximately 2 to 3 inches. Each oyster is unique in shape and color so there will be slight variations from the ones pictured. Most are painted gold on the backs, but I occasionally leave the back unpainted if it’s especially pretty in its natural state. Just let me know if you have a strong preference either way.
