This beautiful oyster shell ring dish is gilded in gold leaf paint and features a golden palmetto tree and crescent moon decal. This would make a perfect gift for a South Carolina native or resident! Oyster shells are from the shores of Charleston, SC and measure approximately 3.5″ to 4″ long.
No detail is overlooked when making these oyster shell ring dishes. Each shell is individually cleaned and sanitized, and a small round base is applied to the bottom of the shell for stability. Then the edges and bottom of the shell are hand painted in gold leaf, and the interior is sealed with a high gloss finish.
