I have some seriously gorgeous new earrings up on my website! These styles are going to be part of my core clay collection. The styles will stay but the color pallets they're made with will change with the seasons!

I dropped off all these pretty things to @the_happy_southerner yesterday. Any of these would make great Mother's Day gifts! I couldn't resist shopping while I was there and got a hat for myself and a gift for a friend. They have something for everyone!

It's been a busy week for wholesale orders! This week, I shipped orders to Virginia, Florida, Texas, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Maine, and hand-delivered 2 orders locally.

Something many of you don't know about me is that

Something many of you don't know about me is that Made on Maidstone is not my only job. I work full-time in data management at Bank Of America. (How do I manage to run a small business where I handcraft everything myself AND work a full-time corporate job? I ask myself that question every day!)

Today I participated in a Bank of America volunteer event supporting @dorchesterpaws . Several dogs from the shelter came to our office and got lots of attention and walks! Participating in an event like this is both happy and sad because I love that the dogs got a much-needed break from the shelter and lots of attention but it makes me sad that I'm not able to give all of them a good home.

But what I can do is share this on social media and get the word out that they have a lot of great dogs looking for families! I have a lot of followers in the Charleston area and I hope this reaches someone who can open their heart and home!

The dog in the first 2 pictures is Birdie. She's eight years young, and loves treats and leisurely walks where she can stop and sniff everything. She's good with kids, cats and other dogs. She's looking for a foster home until a permanent home can be found.

The dog in the third picture is Tweedie. She's 10 years young and is a very sweet and laid back kind of girl!

The black dog is Prada. She 2 and has lots of energy! She likes long walks and rolling in the grass.

Then, of course, there's Beckham, the cute little puppy. He was out there with two of his siblings, who are all adorable as he is. But don't let the cuteness of the puppies keep you from considering an older dog because they still have so much love to give!
