Handprint – Footprint Reindeer
This handprint / footprint art craft has two versions – one for babies and one for older kids. The toddler / child version uses both hands and and a foot to make a reindeer and the baby version uses just a foot. Here’s what you need to make one:
Christmas Craft Supplies
- Green construction paper
- Brown paint
- Foam brush
- Red pom poms
- Googly eyes
- Glue
- Black marker
How to Make a Handprint-Footprint Reindeer
For babies, simply paint their foot with brown paint using the foam brush. Gently stamp it on the green construction paper. I cut a piece in half since Audrey’s feet are so small. Let it dry and then draw antlers and glue on a red pom-pom nose and googly eyes.
Older kids can add handprint antlers to their reindeer footprint. Make sure to stamp the right hand on the left side of the reindeer’s head and the left hand on the right side so the thumbs won’t overlap. Then let them glue on the nose and eyes.
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!
