Handprint Birthday Card
We wanted to make a special card for Sophie’s Granddaddy’s birthday. I knew this handprint birthday card would be a keepsake he would treasure. Here’s what you’ll need to make one yourself!
Supplies
- cardstock
- paint
- paintbrush
- glue
- glitter
How to Make a Handprint Birthday Card
1. Paint the palm of your child’s hand one color.
2. Paint each finger except for the thumb a different color.
3. Stamp your child’s hand on the paper and let dry. (Warning: This is not easy with a 2 year old – Notice the swigly green finger!)
4. Make an icing design with the glue and sprinkle glitter on top. Let dry.
6. Paint candle flames with a paintbrush.
Granddaddy loved his card!
And Sophie loved showing him how she stamped her hand.
