Family Photos 2020

Our original family photo session planned for April got cancelled due to Covid so we rescheduled for June. If there’s any silver lining to Covid, it’s that we were able to have our session on a Saturday night under the oaks at Alhambra Hall. This is a very popular wedding location and it’s unheard of for a wedding not to be taking place there on a Saturday night in June.

Our photographer was my good friend and neighbor Jody Mack of Jody Mack Photography. I would highly recommend her to any Charleston locals looking for an amazing newborn or family photographer. Please excuse the total overload of pictures in this post but she took some amazing shots!

There are so many great candid shots of Sophie and Audrey. This one with their arms around each other looking out over the Charleston Harbor is priceless, and was a totally candid moment that Jody captured.

This photo of Sophie & Audrey is another favorite of mine. Their smiles are so genuine.

Eventually we walked down to the Pitt Street Bridge which was the site of our 2014 family photos.

I absolutely adore this photo of Audrey. It captures her carefree personality perfectly!

The sun was setting at the end of our session and Jody took this super cool silhouette photo with the Ravenel Bridge in the background.
