Easter Egg Wreath
You can make this colorful and festive Easter Egg Wreath out of yarn and plastic eggs! And who doesn’t have about a million of those laying around?!?! My kids had accumulated so many eggs from Easter egg hunts at school, church, and in our neighborhood that we had more than we knew what to do with. I knew there had to be something else we could use them for!

How to prepare the Easter egg wreath form
I recycled an old Halloween wreath. First, I removed the faded orange feathers and used 4″ burlap ribbon to cover it entirely. It’ll look best if your form is fully covered because you’ll be able to see bits of the wreath form between the eggs.
Just wrap the burlap ribbon around overlapping it slightly.
When the wreath form is completely covered, use the Tacky Glue to attach the sections so they’ll stay in place.
Decorating the Easter egg wreath with plastic eggs
Now it’s time to decorate the eggs! You’ll need 4 or 5 colors of bright or pastel colored yarn and more Tacky Glue.
Put a dot of glue on the top of the egg and attach the tail end of the yarn as shown below.
Then keep adding more glue as you work your way down the egg, and wrap the yarn around neatly from top to bottom.
This picture is a better shot of how I applied the glue.
When the egg is completely covered in yarn, simply snip off the excess yarn and secure the tail with glue.
To give the wreath different textures, I also made some eggs with the yarn randomly wrapped around in all directions, as well as some with the yarn wrapped vertically.
I used hot glue to attach the eggs to the burlap covered wreath form. I randomly placed them in different directions and tried not to place the same colors right next to each other.
This was such a fun project to do and I LOVE how the Easter Egg Wreath turned out! I get so many compliments on it! Trust me, even if you’re not crafty this is a project you can totally do!
