Must Have Dog Products

This is the ultimate list of must have dog products! When we adopted our dog Stella in Oct. 2019 we didn’t have anything we needed. Since then I’ve scoured Amazon for the best of the best to create this list of must have dog products. We’ve tried and tested each of these items and there’s quite a few on the list that I’m constantly recommending to other dog owners. See if there’s anything your doggie needs!

Easy Walk Deluxe Dog Harness – This is my #1 most recommended item. It was a total game changer in getting Stella to heel and not pull too much. The leash hooks in the front and the harness will tighten if she pulls too hard. This deluxe version has padded neoprene straps for comfort and reflector strips for night safety.

Kurgo Reversible Dog Jacket – Keep your dog stylish and warm with this reversible dog jacket available in several different color combinations. Stella has two of them in green/aqua and purple/gray. She’s 50 lbs. and wears a medium.

Furhaven Pet Furniture Cover – We use this cover on our couch to keep it from getting covered in pet hair. The bolster sides are easily removable via a zipper so the cover can be washed.

Furhaven Pet Backseat Protector – Similar to the item above but designed to keep pet hair off the backseat of your car.

Elevated Feeder – Eating from an elevated feeder is more comfortable and helps improve your dog’s digestion.

NUTRO ULTRA Adult High Protein Natural Dry Dog Food – We tried several different foods before deciding on this one. Stella loves it!

BSEEN LED Dog Collar – Stella wears this collar when we walk at night, and she always gets compliments. She has an orange one (for Clemson of course!) but it comes in several different color options.

Hands Free LED Neck Light – I wear this neck light for night time walks for more visibility.

Stainless Steel Pet Tags – These stainless steel tags are more durable than aluminum and come with 2 sides engraving with up to 8 lines of text.

Chuck It! Ball Launcher – You’ll be amazed at how far you can throw a ball with this thing! Stella loves playing with it.

Stuffingless Plush Dog Toys – These are Stella’s favorite toys. She’d been playing with them for over a year and they haven’t torn up.

West Paw Treat Dispensing Dog Toy – Fill this toy with a Bully Stick and it’ll keep your dog busy for quite awhile. It’s also very durable for aggressive chewers.

360 Fingerbrush Toothbrush – Yes, you should be brushing your dogs teeth….every day. This toothbrush makes it easy with a 360 degree design.

Petrodex Peanut Flavored Toothpaste – This peanut flavored toothpaste will make your dog look forward to brushing time!

Hartz Groomer’s Best Combo Dog Brush – One side has stainless steel tips to remove lose hair and detangle coat; the other side has nylon bristles to redistribute natural oils for a healthy, shiny coat.

Earth Rated Dog Wipes – Perfect for wiping down your pooch after muddy walks or dirty playdates at the dog park. All natural shea butter, aloe, and chamomile keeps fur soft while smelling fresh. These wipes are free of sulfates and alcohol so they’re mild enough for daily use.

Bodhi Dog Shampoo Brush – This brush will easily get your dog all soapy during bath time. The soft rubber tips quickly scrub away dirt and loose fur making it an excellent pet brush for grooming and bathing.

Dog Nail Clippers – Cut your dog’s nails fast and cleanly with a safety guard to prevent overcutting.

Dremel Dog Nail Grinding Tool – After trimming nails, we use this rotary grinder to file them smooth.

Rubit Dog Tag Switch Clip – Use this to easily switch dog tags from collar to collar.

BAAPET Dog Leash with Padded Handle – We love the padded handle on this dog leash and the threads on the rope are reflective for extra safety at night time.

Potty Be l ls – Hang these potty bells on your door knob and your dog will ring them to let you know when she needs to go outside. Stella figured out how to use this in 1 day!

UPSKY Portable Dog Water Bottle – This lightweight water bottle holds 15 oz. It has a built in bowl that fills by pushing a button and unused water can be drained back into the cup.

Silicone Dog Food Mat – Handy for catching water spills under the food bowl.

Zippy Paws Leash Bag – This small bag is big enough to carry one roll of doggie poop bags. It attaches securely to the leash with Velcro and doesn’t dangle annoyingly like some other holders do.
