12 Months of Audrey

Today my baby girl is one year old! It’s bitter sweet because I’m excited to see how far she’s come in the past year and how much she’s learned and grown but at the same time I just want her to stay little forever! She’s my last baby, after all!

She’s celebrating her first birthday with 8 teeth and 19.5 pounds of cuteness! She can say Dada, Mama and Oh-Oh. She’s been practicing walking with her “push car” and is making great progress. She gives kisses and waves bye-bye. I’m so thankful that she’s a happy and healthy little girl!

It’s been such a blessing to have Audrey join our family and watch the bond that has developed between her and Sophie. The past year has been full of exhaustion and sacrifice, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. My girls are the most important things to me and I am incredibly blessed to be their mom.

Here’s a look back over how much she’s changed in 12 months!

We’re celebrating this special milestone with a small group of family and friends.  Although we had a big first birthday party for Sophie, we decided to keep Audrey’s party low key because we’ve realized that parties are simply not a big deal to them at this age. She is going to have her own beautiful girly pink ruffle cake though!
