I'm back! - Made on Maidstone

I’m so excited to be back with my own little spot on the web! I started this blog back in 2013, but life with a full-time job and two little girls was so busy that I’ve mostly taken a hiatus for the past few years. I’ve missed having a place to share all my craft projects, DIY & home decor projects, favorite products, mom life and everything else going on….

So although life is no less busy now (and maybe even more so!) I decided to just go for it and get back online! I’ve rebranded as Made on Maidstone, in honor or our home and where I make all my crafty creations and DIY projects. My posting may be frequent or it may be sporadic but I hope you decide to follow along because I have some good things up my sleeve that I can’t wait to share!

Things will be a bit different around here. I didn’t even own a Cricut when the blog was active several years ago and it’s since become my most used craft equipment. I bought the Explore Air 2 back in 2018 and have since upgraded to the Cricut Maker. So you’ll be seeing lots of Cricut projects going forward! I’ll also be sharing many of my favorite products, gift guides and shopping finds. I consider myself an expert in the field of online shopping, and my UPS guy can attest to that!

There are also two things you’ll see less of. The girls are older now (10 and 7!) so we don’t do as many kid’s crafts as we used to. And I’m just going to accept the fact that I am not a food blogger. I’ll leave that to the food experts and I’ll stick with what I do best!

I’m in the process of opening an online shop which has been a decade long dream of mine. Stay tuned for that soon! I’m starting out with a small collection of monogrammed oyster shells and personalized pillows and hope to expand my product offerings soon.
