Snow White Party
We celebrated Sophie’s 4th birthday last weekend with a Snow White party! Sophie loves all things Disney Princess but Snow White is her ultimate favorite! She was so excited to have the “real” Snow White attend the festivities. She was also joined by ten little friends all dressed up in their best princess (and prince!) attire.
A couple weeks ago I took her to buy a Snow White dress. It was her first trip to the Disney Store and of course she wanted one of everything! She was also very excited to ride the escalator….and told everyone at school the following week that she’d ridden an “alligator” at the store! After returning home, she got all dressed up and I took a gazillion pictures trying to get the perfect shot for her invitation.
I couldn’t resist the poisoned apple shot.
Here’s the invitation that was sent out to her guests:
\Party day finally arrived, which also happened to fall on Sophie’s actual birthday. (How is it possible that she’s 4 already???) All the little princesses enjoyed getting their hair, nails and makeup done, getting glitter tattoos, having a princess parade, and dancing to tunes from Frozen.
But Sophie’s favorite part was simply coloring with Snow White.
Sophie’s best friend Devin arrived dressed as Prince Charming and presented her with a beautiful bracelet. The two of them are just adorable together!
Audrey was there too of course, wearing a cute little Snow White outfit!
For refreshments, vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting and “princess tea” (aka pink lemonade) were served.
Party guests took home tiaras and spinning, light up princess wands as favors.
We probably should’ve waited until after the group picture to hand out the favors because all the kids were too engrossed in playing with their wands to look at the camera!
We took a few more pictures after most of the guests left.
I know it will be a day my little princess will always remember. Happy, happy birthday my sweet girl!
